What's in the Box?

The Lookah Swordfish comes packaged in a rigid box with all things insert. Everything feels well protected and it's a stylish, eye-catching design.

Open the box you'll see the Swordfish vape, 2 x Quartz Cup Coils, a metal dab tool, a cleaning brush and an instruction manual. Overall the packaging is very generous.

Sleek and Portable Design

The Lookah Swordfish is a cylindrical-style vaporizer, measuring just 116mm tall and a mere 26.4mm (bottom) to 43mm (top) in width.

The ergonomic shape, light weight and small size make the Swordfish feels super comfortable to hold and really easy to carry with you.

In terms of aesthetics, The design is inspired by the actual Swordfish in the ocean which gives this concentrate vaporizer a unique look compared to others.

It's a cool looking wax vape and will definitely turn heads and get people to say, "Woh! What the heck is that?". Some people might like that, I do.

The overall design is small, compact and stealthy. I can cover the entire device if I close my hand around it.

It's available in 8 different colors (Black, Gray, Neon Green, Green, Purple, Red, Orange, Blue) and all of them look fantastic!

Build Quality

The quality of this vaporizer is definitely above average, with well-machined parts and high quality materials. This unit seems built to last.

The mouthpiece is borosilicate glass, the heating chamber is quartz, and the exterior shell is made from zinc alloy with an electro-plated finish that feels smooth and looks great. This type of finish does not show smudges or fingerprints.

I'm happy to report that the paint job on the Swordfish also holds up really well. I stupidly dropped it after a fairly heavy session and there was no discernible damage to the body or paintwork.

Lookah Swordfish holds a 950mAh battery and it has a USB-C port at the bottom.

The 950mAh battery easily powered me through a full days' worth of vaping, with battery left to spare at the end of the day.

The charge voltage is 5V, while rate is 250 mA and the 950mAh battery charges in about 90 minutes, which is ok!

Three Heat Settings

The Lookah Swordfish has three different voltage settings: 3.5V (Low), 3.7V (Medium), and 3.9V (High).

Vapor Quality

Lookah Swordfish has a 710 Quartz Cup Coil Type A which promotes rapid, efficient vaporization and great flavor.

If you want a slightly different vaping experience, It is also compatible with the brand's other 4 different types of 710 quartz cup replacement coils.

Quartz is a great material for heating chambers because it's a neutral material that preserves the natural taste of your product and heats up fast.

The flavor can also be chalked up to the adjustable temperature settings that make it easy to enjoy a variety of vapor levels.

Set the temperature to low 3.5V level, and you'll enjoy light vapors easy on the throat and barely visible. Set the temperature to over 3.9V and enjoy big rips producing large vapor clouds.

Finally, Its glass mouthpiece preserves the flavor and is easy to clean. But glass brings its own challenges, mainly fragility.

Ease of Use

The Lookah Swordfish is simple and easy to use. One-button controls make it accessible to beginners, while still delivering performance that experienced users appreciate.

It is simple to turn on the Lookah Swordfish and change the settings when you're ready to start vaping.

The magnetic mouthpiece pops right off and flips away thanks to its hinge, making loading the Swordfish easier than any other dab pen on the market.

The dab tool included makes loading your concentrates easier, and you can store it inside the device so you never lose it.

Here is a step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Open the Magnetic flip-top lid of the Swordfish vape to reveal the quartz cup atomizer and load a small amount of concentrates into the chamber. When you're done replace the lid and close the chamber.

Step 2: Press the power button 5 times within 2 seconds to turn on the Swordfish.

After the device is turned on, it will automatically enter the preheating state for 8 seconds (the indicator light will alternately flash green, blue, and white a total of 13 times).

After preheating the device will default to Mode 1 (Low): Green voltage setting.

Step 3: Press the power button 2 times quickly to change the voltage. There are 3 voltage modes available. You can see which voltage you select by the color of the LED indicator light.

Mode 1 (Low): Green - 3.5 V;
Mode 2 (Medium): Blue - 3.7 V;
Mode 3 (High): White - 3.9 V.

Step 4: Press and hold the power button, while inhaling vapor from the mouthpiece.

You can hold the power button and enjoy for up to 10 seconds. After 10 seconds the device will stop heating. The light will flash 3 times and it will enter standby.

Step 5: Press the power button 5 times within 2 seconds to turn off the device. The indicator light will flash white 3 times.

The Lookah Swordfish will automatically turn off if there is no operation for 5 minutes.

Cleaning

Keeping your Swordfish dab pen clean is key to getting clean, flavorful puffs on the regular. And any left-over residue may impact the taste of future vapors and flavors. Fortunately, it's pretty easy.

Just make sure to clean the heating chamber after each vape session—you can use a cotton swab soaked in isopropyl alcohol and gently scrub the ceramic cup atomizer to remove any residue..

You can also remove and soak the quartz cup coil and glass mouthpiece in ISO alcohol for a half hour or more before wiping with a brush, rinsing with water for a deeper clean. But make sure all parts dry completely when you re-install the Swordfish vaporizer.

Finally, you can use a paper towel or cloth bandana lightly soaked in ISO alcohol to wipe down the body and exterior of your vape to remove any sticky spots.

When I look at the Swordfish's vapor quality, feature set and price point, it really has no equal.

I've tried other wax pens in the past that cost two to three times as much as the Swordfish, without really offering all that much extra!

Considering the fantastic design and the admirable performance, I'm genuinely shocked the Swordfish doesn't cost more!

Cnclusion

I was really impressed with the Lookah Swordfish! I was expecting a budget device with average performance, but the quality of vapor and flavor produced far exceeded my expectations!

There really wasn't much I didn't like about the Lookah Swordfish! It's an incredibly simple device to use and super lightweight and portable.

In fact, over the past month the Swordfish has slowly become my go to wax vaporizer for sessions outdoors!

There were some very minor negatives like the lack of pass-through charging, but for $55.24 I expected a lot more negatives!

When you consider the impressive amount of vapor and flavor produced, the Swordfish performs like a vaporizer worth double the price!

It's incredibly budget-friendly and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to get in to dabbing.
